Biography

Dr. Chak Kwong Cheng (Andy), an awardee of Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, is a researcher in cardiovascular metabolic aging and a project leader at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research. He earned his PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and has been awarded prestigious fellowships, including the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Humboldt Research Fellowship. His research integrates mechanobiology and metabolic regulation to investigate aging-related vascular diseases. He has published 41 papers in prominent journals such as Circulation Research and Diabetes, and serves as a reviewer for over 60 journals.
