Biography

Dr. Xin Wu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemistry at City University of Hong Kong, specializing in perovskite photovoltaics, including high-efficiency inverted cells, tandem solar cells, and environmentally friendly lead-management strategies. He earned his PhD from CityU and previously completed MSc and BSc degrees at Beihang University. His research encompasses materials design, crystallography, charge-carrier dynamics, and device engineering. Dr. Wu has published extensively in leading journals such as Science, Nature Energy, Joule, and Advanced Materials, with over 7800 citations and an h-index of 39. He also holds U.S. patent applications and received the 2024 RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship.
