Biography
Dr. Xin Li is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. He earned his PhD from RWTH Aachen University (Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Andrij Pich (Lichtenberg Professor). Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a Research Assistant at DWI-Leibniz-Institute for Interactive Materials in Germany, then as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology collaborating with Prof. Ben Zhong Tang (CAS Academician), and subsequently a Research Associate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on smart micro/nanogels, biomaterials, sonochemistry and sonomedicine, nanomedicine, and disease theranostics.
