Biography

Dr. Mengxia Gao is an Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, with a joint appointment in the Division of Computational Social Science and Applied Psychology. Dr. Gao holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from The University of Hong Kong, where she was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong Research Grants Council Postdoctoral Fellowship. Her research focuses on utilizing multimodal behavioral and brain-imaging data, along with machine-learning techniques, to predict cognitive and affective functions in aging and clinical populations. She has authored over 20 publications in leading international journals including Nature Mental Health, Molecular Psychiatry, Psychological Medicine, NeuroImage, Brain Communications, etc.
