Biography
Professor Hong Ying-yi is a native of Hong Kong and a graduate of the Psychology Department at CUHK. She earned her PhD in social and personality psychology from Columbia University and has taught at universities across Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United States, and Singapore. Her research focuses on culture and cognition, identity, intergroup relations, and political psychology. She aims to explore the psychological factors underlying significant social events in Hong Kong and around the world.
