Biography

Prof. Meng Ni’s research focuses on clean energy technologies, including hydrogen energy, high temperature fuel cells, and rechargeable batteries. He earned his PhD from The University of Hong Kong and was awarded the Young Scientist Award from Hong Kong Institution of Science in 2007. He worked as a Humboldt Research Fellow at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, in 2017. Currently he is a Chair Professor of Energy Science and Technology, Head of Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering, and the Associate Dean of Faculty of Construction and Environment, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also a Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
