Biography
Professor Bei Yu is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Assistant Dean (Mainland Affairs) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from UT Austin and M.S. from Tsinghua. His research focuses on machine learning and combinatorial algorithms for EDA and computer vision. He has taken on leadership roles in major conferences and journals. His numerous accolades include 11 Best Paper Awards, the DAC Under-40 Innovator Award (2024), and the IEEE CEDA Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award (2021).
