Biography

Hongchuan Shen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Management within the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Macau. He earned his Ph.D. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on the economics of information systems, encompassing information design on online platforms, two-sided markets, and the social impacts of artificial intelligence. His research has appeared in top-tier academic journals, including Information Systems Research, Nature Communications, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Materials, and others.
