Biography

Dr. Liu received her Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from the the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research primarily focuses on children’s learning and development during early and middle childhood. She investigates how the home learning environment — such as home literacy and numeracy environment — is associated with children’s learning and development across diverse socioeconomic contexts. She is particularly interested in supporting the learning and well-being of young children from low- to middle-SES families.
