Biography
The Chair Professor (Population Health) at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, and the Director of the HKJC Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention at the University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health of the Health Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, a honorary advisor and a chair of the research committee of the FPAHK, a board member of the Unicef (Hong Kong). Professor Yip’s research expertise lies in Biostatistics, Demography, Population Health Studies, and Suicide Research and Prevention.
