Biography

Professor Liwen Jiang is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (External Affairs) and the Choh-Ming Li Professor of Life Sciences at the School of Life Sciences in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is also the director of RGC-AoE Centre for Plant Vacuole Biology and Biotechnology, RGC-AoE Centre for Organelle Biogenesis and Function, and the deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology. Professor Jiang’s research team has been working on the underlying mechanisms of protein trafficking, organelle biogenesis and function in plants for 25 years at CUHK and has been internationally recognized as a leading group in the field.
