Biography

Dr. Gu Haogao studies virus evolution, the epidemiology of viral infections, viral sequence features, and virus–host interactions. He specializes in the bioinformatic and statistical analysis of viral sequencing data. His research has generated new insights into fundamental virology and has informed applied approaches for controlling viral transmission.
