Biography
Dr. Jee-Eun Choi is a Research Assistant Professor in the Centre for Oncology and Immunology (COI), a HKU subsidiary and previously was an RGC postdoctoral fellow (2022-2025) in the University of Hong Kong/Queen Mary Hospital, investigating how oncogenic mutation drives lineage and morphological plasticity using 3D organoid gastric cancer models. After obtaining B.S. and M.S. degrees at Seoul National University with Summa Cum Laude (Pharmacy major). She received PhD degree at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in USA under the supervision of Prof. Raul Mostoslavsky, where she studied cancer stem cell plasticity focusing on epigenetics and cell metabolism.
