Biography

Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang (Ph.D., University of Maryland) is Chair Professor of Communication and Media at City University of Hong Kong. Professor Huang was elected as a Fellow of the International Communication Association in 2021 and was awarded the title of Senior Research Fellow by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council in 2024. Prof. Huang’s research interests cover strategic communication, risk communication in health and technology, crisis communication, relationship management and conflict resolution, and cross-cultural communication. She currently serves as Editor for Communication and Society (TSSCI). She also serves as an editorial board member for more than 10 SSCI journals.
