Biography

Professor Arnold Wong is a Full Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a world-renowned clinician-scientist specializing in spinal disorders across the lifespan. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications, he has been ranked among Stanford University’s Top 2% most-cited researchers in orthopedics since 2022. His research excellence is recognized by the prestigious ISSLS Prize in Bioengineering Science (2026) and multiple SOSORT Best Paper awards. Internationally, Prof. Wong holds prominent leadership roles, serving as the Treasurer of SOSORT, Co-Chair of the ISSLS Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Taskforce, and Deputy Editor for the European Spine Journal.
