Biography

Professor Dongwon Lee is a tenured Associate Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research spans mobile commerce, customer analytics, digital nudging, and the platform economy, with publications in top-tier journals like MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research. Recognitions for his academic contributions include the ICIS Best Paper Award, the ACM SIGMIS Early Career Award, and the AIS Early Career Award. Beyond academia, he advises startups and Fortune 500 firms, currently serving as a Global Advisor at d.camp and Venture Partner at FuturePlay. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and degrees from KAIST.
