Biography
Professor Meng Gao is a Professor in the Department of Geography at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), where he has been a faculty member since 2019 after being recruited through the university's "Talent 100" scheme. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa (2015) and a B.S. in Atmospheric Physics from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (2012), and he previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (2016–2019), where he remains an Associate of the Harvard-China Project.
