Biography

Dr. Zhaoliang Chen is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His primary research interests include biogeochemical processes across coastal wetlands, estuaries, and polar environments, alongside the environmental impacts of human activities. He focuses on applying ultrahigh-resolution molecular fingerprinting and dating techniques to elucidate the biogeochemical cycling of dissolved organic carbon. His research is centered on resolving the molecular-level mechanisms governing organic carbon pools across diverse ecosystems.
