Biography

Professor Yanjie Song is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at The Education University of Hong Kong, where she also serves as Associate Co-Director of The Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF), Assistant Dean of Graduate School, and Associate Director of Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT). She holds a PhD from The University of Hong Kong and an MEd from the University of Leeds. Her research spans AR, VR, MR, the metaverse, AI in education, and multimodal learning analytics. She has led award winning platforms including VocabGo, EmoCare, Learningverse, LearningverseVR, Embodyverse, and iChat, with multiple patents. She has secured competitive funding, as APSCE President-elect, and is listed among Stanford’s top 2% most cited scientists.
