Awardees of the RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme (SRFS), RGC Research Fellow Scheme (RFS), RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme (JRFS, formerly known as RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (PDFS)) and other RGC research fellowship schemes (e.g. Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme (HSSPFS), Overseas Research Fellowship Scheme (ORFS)) are eligible for membership in the Alliance.

Membership Categories

Category of Membership	Awardees of RGC Research Fellowship

Regular Member	SRFS / RFS
Junior Member	JRFS / PDFS
Associate Member	HSSPFS / ORFS
Non-resident Member	For any RGC research fellowship awardees who now reside outside Hong Kong

Notes:

There is no membership fee.
Awardees who have their RGC fellowship early ended shall also be eligible to enrol as members of the Alliance.
Regular / Junior / Associate Members shall be awardees ordinarily reside in Hong Kong, who remain in Hong Kong for a settled purpose (such as for education, employment or residence).
Awardees currently residing outside Hong Kong shall be eligible to enrol as Non-resident Members of the Alliance.
Non-resident Members shall not be eligible to be appointed to the ExCom of the Alliance, nor possess voting rights. In case a non-resident member relocates back to Hong Kong, they may apply to change the membership category.
